Rooted in Healing. Growing in Community.
The Hearts United Festival is hosted by, Jeni's House Founder, Jenn Braman, LCSW, a lifelong advocate for mental wellness, trauma-informed care, and community connection.
Jenn has served the Newaygo community for over two decades. From 2002 to 2004, she worked with TrueNorth Community Services, followed by 15 years as a Wraparound Facilitator, MHFA Trainer and Clinician for Newaygo County Community Mental Health, where she supported children, families, and individuals across all systems of care. Her work became a trusted presence among schools, healthcare providers, local court partners, and community partners throughout the region.
In 2017, Jenn co-founded Illuminate Counseling & Wellness, and in 2024 she expanded that vision by opening Jeni’s House—a 2400 sq ft healing space offering traditional therapy, trauma-informed wellness programs, and a stigma-reducing boutique and lounge designed to make mental health care more approachable.
Jenn also founded Hearts United, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to bringing people together through kindness, emotional wellness, and accessible healing experiences. Through community events, pay-as-you-wish circles, and creative outreach, Hearts United invites every person to feel seen, supported, and empowered.

Hearts United Festival
“This festival is a reflection of my heart and the healing I’ve seen possible when a community comes together around kindness, creativity, and emotional support. It’s more than an event—it’s a space for connection and restoration.”
— Jenn Braman, LMSW
